The Club

Last night we checked out the new restaraunt Al Hamraa at the IX building. It’s right next to Al Dente and 2 doors down from Blue Wheel Bicycles.  It’s a big restaraunt with a lot of open space.  There are seats all the way around the perimeter of the restaurant with Moroccan themed pillows and decorations and then there is a huge dance floor in the middle of the restaurant.  The stage is at the front of the restaurant and all night they stuck with the theme of Moroccan music.  It’s a neat restaurant, they have a small room to the right when you first walk in that you can have a private dinner party, there are rugs so that you would sit on the floor around a table in the room.  The food smelled really good, but I didn’t have a chance to try it last night.

Last night we met at Escafe. Micah is the fastest bartender around… it didn’t take long to get a drink last night with the bartenders they had working. Good job on the canned food. We doubled the amount of cans that we have gotten so far. Next week is the last week to bring your canned food!

Last night we went to South Street for the first time. The fire wasn’t going yet, but we’re hopeful that by next time we visit that it’ll be cold enough to get it started. Good job on bringing cans, last night we picked up several more.

Last night we went to McGrady’s. If you haven’t been since they became smoke free you should check it out because it made a huge difference. Thanks to the couple of you that brought cans! We’ll keep trying for a couple more weeks leading up to the holidays.

Last night we met at X Lounge. Cans! It’s hard to remember, but on your way out of the house try to grab at least one! Thanksgiving is coming up and it would be great to be able to support the food bank and be able to bring them a bunch of cans from us. Right now we’re at a standstill with 6…that’s sad. There are 550 of us now, just alone on the facebook fanpage.

Facebook is being weird right now and not allowing me to upload the pictures, Sorry! It was fun to check out Si Tapas last night since they just opened a couple weeks ago. They offer an impressive 70 beers in a bottle, they also have sangria along with the rest of their full bar. It was nice that they had tvs for those of you that needed to see the Phillies win and move on to the World Series! Remember to start bringing a canned food so that we can help the food bank before the holidays.

Wednesday night we went to Blue Light. Good job bringing cans, it was only the first week that I reminded you and we got 6…it’s a start! I’ll set a box up by the door each week so that you don’t have to carry the can around with you the whole night.
